NEEC is built to be challenged. If you think a score, a threshold or a source is wrong, or you have evidence that could change a score, there is a short form for it. Every report is reproduced by the maintainers and answered on the record.
Choose what you want to do
- Challenge a score
- One criterion for one system: the score you would give, and the evidence for it.
- Add evidence
- A source, a figure or a new edition that bears on a score, whether or not you dispute the score.
- Push back on a threshold
- You would set a bar, a reading or a weight differently. Say where and why: disagreements about what ought to count are the ones NEEC most wants recorded.
- Report an AI check
- You ran the prompt on the Replicate page. Paste the answer, whether it agrees or not.
- Propose a system
- An economic system NEEC does not score yet, with its founding literature and any implementations.
- Propose a criterion
- Something an economy ought to achieve that no criterion measures, with the evidence of need and a threshold that could be measured.
The forms need a free GitHub account. The contributing guide explains each route in full, and NEEC_CONTRIBUTING.md gives the method for replication audits and for scoring a new system.
What happens to a report
- A maintainer reproduces it: the figure, the source, the reading.
- A correction of fact is made. A disagreement of judgment is weighed against the protocol and recorded as a decision with its reason, whichever way it goes.
- A score that changes does so through the recorded rescoring pass, applied by a script and checked by the harness, never by hand, and the record links the report.
Reports that confirm a score are logged too. Engage with the evidence and the reasoning rather than with people; those are the reports that change things.
