NEEC

Systems

NEEC scores 23 economic systems of three kinds: 6 configured national economies, 9 comprehensive systems, 8 mechanisms. The kind decides how a threshold written for a whole population is read. Each system has an evidence report, criterion by criterion, and its full scoring documents, linked below.

Compare side by side

Choose up to three systems to set their rows next to each other. Where one system scores at least as high on every criterion and higher on at least one, the comparison says so.

Configured national economies

An existing or historical national political economy, scored as configured at a stated date.

Comprehensive systems

A design or vision for a whole economy, scored as its own sources specify it.

Mechanisms

An institution, instrument or policy family that operates inside a wider economy without itself specifying that economy.
